My Favorite Campus Activity
One of my favorite campus activities is the annual spring festival. This festival is held every year in April and lasts for three days. During this time, the campus is decorated with colorful flowers and lights, and there are many fun activities and performances for everyone to enjoy.
One of the highlights of the festival is the food fair. There are many vendors selling all kinds of delicious snacks and drinks, such as cotton candy, popcorn, and bubble tea. I always look forward to trying new foods and flavors at the fair.
Another popular activity is the talent show. Students from all departments can sign up to showcase their talents, whether it's singing, dancing, or playing an instrument. It's always exciting to see the amazing skills and creativity of my fellow students.
In addition to these activities, there are also carnival games, movie screenings, and a fireworks show to end the festival. It's a great opportunity to bond with classmates and make new friends while enjoying the festive atmosphere.
Overall, the spring festival is an event that I always look forward to every year. It's a time to relax and have fun after a busy semester, and it's a reminder of the vibrant and diverse community that I am a part of on campus.
望梅止渴
东汉末年的一个夏天，曹操率领军队行进时，路上缺水，士兵们都很口渴，快要走不动了。
曹操见士兵们又热又渴，纷纷舔着干裂的嘴唇，心里非常着急。
曹操让士兵们到处去找水，结果都空手而回，
这时，曹操忽然计上心来，他驱马驰往山头，然后回头大声向士兵们说，“前面有一大片梅树林，那里的梅子很多，又酸又甜！我们快点赶路，绕过这个山坡，马上就要到梅林了。”
士兵们听了，好像已经吃到了梅子，口水直流，不再感到口渴了，一齐争先恐后地向前行进。
后来望梅止渴这个成语故事用来比喻愿望无法实现，只好用空想来加以安慰。
