1. thanks to的基本用法

①thanks to(相当于because of …或 with the help of … )多表达正面意思，相当于感谢，作状语。

如：

Thanks to your advice，much trouble was saved．

多亏你的建议，减少了许多麻烦。

Everyone knows about it now, thanks to you!

多亏了你，现在大家都知道了！

Thanks to everybody's help, we finished the job on time.亏得大家帮忙，我们才按时把这活儿干完。

Thanks to the English language，we can learn a lot from other countries．

由于英语这门语言，我们能从其它国家学到很多东西。

Thanks to your help, we were successful.

多亏了你的帮助，我们得以成功。

Thanks to my teacher，I made rapid progress。

②thanks to短语在句中也可作表语。如：

thanks for是客套用语，thanks相当于 thank you ，意为“因……而感谢”，for强调为何而感谢，其后可接名词或v-ing。
